Old white men should not be making all the decision about every pregnancy for every woman in the country.Â
Many years ago, my daughter developed an ectopic pregnancy and could have died if her doctor had not been able to terminate it quickly. She and her husband later went on to have two healthy boys, who are now all grown up.Â
Every pregnancy is a precious and special occasion that needs medical care to bring it to fruition. State legislatures and Congress are not equipped to make all the rules for each one.Â
